January 26, 8:00 a.m. Waves 4'.In the chest high/shoulder high range.Glassy conditions with fair shape.The first ever Pavones Mini-Marathon was held today.Conceived of and organized by Ingrid to raise funds for the Pavones elementary school and library.It was a great success with fantastic community participation.Many thanks to Ingrid and to all of those who helped her including the competitors.I hope that they do it again next year.After the road race there was delicious "tico style" food and a soccer game.It was a special day and everyone really enjoyed it.
